Hot spring
Fermin Diaz, a dreamer who believed in food as a cure, was fascinated by the healing power of the Los Molles hot springs. Raising materials and men by cart to 1,890 meters of height in trips lasting weeks. In the year 1916 he managed to inaugurate his dream, Las Termas de los Molles.
One of the first spa hotels in the country and the first in Mendoza. This hotel and its hot springs, which he only opened in summer since it was inaccessible in winter, soon gained fame and awards. In the 1960s it finally closed and was “invaded” by the mountain. In 2008 it was re-inaugurated with original walls, chimneys and hot springs.
